A traditional sleigh bed with all of its rolls can take up a foot or more of valuable floor space. The Monarch II is a platform bed that gives the look of a sleigh bed but with modified angles. The headboard and footboard are simple panels inset into gently angled posts for a clean contemporary look. Made right here in MA out of beautiful solid cherry.

* Because of the nature of cherry, new pieces will be lighter in color. As it ages, the wood boards darken and increases in character and finally achieves variegated shades of the rich, reddish patina that you associate with cherry in approximately 12 months.
