The Willow Panel platform bed combines soft curves and angles for a contemporary look and feel. Starting with the slightly flared posts which are gently rounded (no late-night toe stubbing!) they rise up to meet the three inset paneled head and foot boards which highlight the natural wood grain. The base of the footboard has a curved apron and the headboard and footboard are topped with a reversed beveled edge. The Willow collection is constructed out of solid cherry and is made right here in Massachusetts.

* Because of the nature of cherry, new pieces will be lighter in color. As it ages, the wood boards darken and increases in character and finally achieves variegated shades of the rich, reddish patina that you associate with cherry in approximately 12 months.
